Meet Dr. Leavitt
Tyler Leavitt DDS, MSD was born in Pocatello and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho. From day one of starting dental school at Creighton University- School of Dentistry, Dr. Leavitt knew exactly what he wanted and that was to become an orthodontist and to live in where he grew up, South Eastern Idaho.
Dr. Leavitt received many awards and honors while at Creighton such as Summa Cum Laude, American Association of Orthodontics Student Award, Humanitarian Award, an award for exceptional interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex from The American Association of Orthodontists, and more.
He was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. A society that recognizes students who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service.
He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, a National Dental Society. OKU, since its founding in 1914, has represented the highest standards of dentistry. Their role prospectively is to continue to represent the highest ideals of ethics and scholarship in the ever-changing landscape of oral health and dental practice.
Living in Omaha, Nebraska was an amazing experience and he made many life long friendships during that season of life. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton, Dr. Leavitt continued in his goal of attending St. Louis University- Center for Advanced Dental Education for an Orthodontic Residency.
We can’t wait share more about Dr. Leavitt’s journey. He is so excited to be back, serving the community as an Orthodontist in Pocatello, Idaho.
