  • Consultation with Dr. Leavitt

    At your free consultation in our Pocatello, Idaho orthodontic office, Dr. Leavitt will examine your mouth and let you know if Invisalign is the right treatment for your needs. If it is, a member of the team will go over what you can expect, the cost and answer any questions you have.

    Create a Digital 3D Image of Your Mouth

    The Leavitt Ortho team will take photos and digital impressions using our high-tech iTero scanner. We then put this information into a computer program to create an extremely accurate 3D model of your mouth. Dr. Leavitt adjusts the position of each individual tooth directly on the 3D model giving him complete control over your tooth movements. You’ll even be able to see what your smile will look like at every stage of treatment!

    Pick Up Your Custom Aligners

    Dr. Leavitt devises treatment specifications that are used to create clear, BPA-free plastic aligners just for you. You’ll wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day, taking them out to eat and brush and floss your teeth.

    Wear New Aligners Every Week

    Approximately every week, you’ll pop in a new set of aligners. Your teeth will gradually straighten according to Dr. Leavitt's prescription as you move through the trays. You won’t need any adjustments but you’ll come in for regular appointments so we can monitor your progress.

  • Invisalign Teen relies on the same principles as Invisalign but is designed especially for teenagers with features like eruption tabs to accommodate erupting teeth. The special features include:

    ◆ Color Indicators:
    Invisalign for teens come with small blue dots which fade away after 336 hours or 2 weeks of wear. This parameter helps them follow the treatment with more dedication.

    ◆ Eruption Tabs
    For teens that still have baby teeth or their permanent teeth are still growing, Invisalign aligners for teens are perfect. The aligners are designed with spaces which allow the smooth eruption of permanent teeth.

    ◆ Extra Replacement Aligners
    Teens sometimes lose or damage their aligners. Invisalign for teens comes with replacement aligners. This makes it convenient for the teens to continue their treatment without any hindrance caused by damaged or lost aligners.
